BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY
What is a good restaurant in Philadelphia to take a young lady to?
I’m meeting a friend for dinner in Philadelphia, and I am looking for a restaurant. It has to meet some specifications though.
1. I’m looking for someplace fun.
2. I’m looking for some place kind of nice. (I don’t want anything blue collar, or for families.)
3, It has to serve cocktails, the kind a young woman in her twenties would drink.
Anybody have any suggestions?
One of my personal favorites is Butcher & Singer at 1500 Walnut Street.. it’s a great steakhouse.. but if that’s not your thing I found on philly.com a restaurant search, where you can choose the type of food you want, the price range you want, and then it gives you a brief overview of the restaurant. So that probably will help you.

Check out Jones. Buddakhan always sounded like a date-night to me, and isn’t Melting Pot a chain? Not that that’s bad, but there’s too much else in Philly to worry about a chain.
Jones is on 7th and Chestnut and is a great little spot for good food and relaxed drinks. It’s a Starr restaurant if that matters.

The Liberty Bar on Market. They have great food, awesome atmosphere, and there’s a subway station right in front of it. Another plus is the bathrooms are spotless. Women appreciate that more than anything.
