BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY
Is it inappropriate to read the newspaper in a fine dining restaurant?
You’re paying and eating…of course it doesn’t matter.
Just don’t be rude to the server and tip well if it’s good service…then I don’t see why enjoying a fine dining meal with reading material instead of conversation would be a problem

Sort of but it depends
I mean if you are enjoying breakfast or lunch alone in a fine dining establishment I think it is alright but don’t make it all messy, fold a section of paper in a small easy holding position not all up covering your face
if you are having dinner well I think you should get up to that bar and enjoy some company instead of reading the paper alone.

If I go in pantless and no one says anything about it, I don’t consider it inappropriate.
