BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY

can anyone suggest a nice fine dining restaurant in detroit?

its my girlfriend’s birthday and we live in ann arbor. Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant in downtown detroit with a nice view of the city?

I would suggest staying local, there’s a restaurant in downtown A2 called Logan that’s exquisite. It has great service, an interesting menu, and you can get a table in the window for some great people watching. It’s across from Grizzly Peak. The website is: http://www.logan-restaurant.com/

As for Detroit, your best bet of a good view would be Coach Insignia at the top of the Renaissance Center. The website is: http://www.mattprenticerg.com/urc/coach.asp

Keep in mind, both of these restaurants are considered fine dining experiences, and you’ll be paying much more than if you were going to your neighborhood Applebee’s.

Good luck, and I hope your girlfriend has a good birthday!

There are plenty of nice restaurants in Downtown Detroit. It all depends on what you are trying to spend and enjoy? Seldom Blues is nice and you get a view of the Riverfront as well as Andiamo’s. Both located inside the RenCen. Or there is a nice Tapas bar on Woodward and John R if you like those types of places. Good Luck.

Coach Insignia, located in the GM Renaissance Center. The great view is not of Detroit however, but the river and the city of Winsor, Canada. If you really want a view of Detroit, try crossing over to Windsor and having dinner at The Park Terrance restaurant in the Hilton.
