Since the release of the Xbox 360 in November 2005 there have been many problems with the system due to a very common problem of overheating. According to people surveyed, anywhere from 23.7% to as high as 54.2% have reported failures with their consoles. There has been legal action taken against Microsoft prompting them to extend the warranty to three years for general hardware failure. A series of flashing red light on the front of the console indicate there is a problem with the Xbox 360.
For many people, myself included, the extended warranty is useless because the Xbox 360s are very old, and Microsoft will still fix them for a price that is slightly less than buying a new one. But for those of you like me there is a solution that doesn’t require any technical knowledge or paying Microsoft for the repair. You can easily fix the “red ring of death” on your own fast easy and cheap. Take a look at my website Fix RRoD to find out more about the method I used.
