Yes I have. I've seen them as bus boys and waiters and waitresses. I live in a large city in TX.

Yes I see it all the time. I've noticed a decrease in the quality of the food too. I try to go the more high end restaurants now.

We had a Chinese food place on campus when I was in college and there were only Black people working there.

no but we did have a Mexican restaurant ran by Laotians and the chili con egg roll were awesome!

Actually not only have seen it, but there is a chinese restaruant 5 minutes walk from my apartment that has a help wanted sign in spanish (know enough spanish to read it) that asks they speak a little english.

It depends on the size of the business I think.Maybe none of the groups applied for jobs in those places.Perhaps a ethnic restaurant attracts people of the ethnicity.I have seen a black cook(he was not Hispanic) in a Mexican restaurant. Interesting question .I'm not sure it has anything to do with immigration but interesting none the less.

It's just another way they're trying to cheat you. Pay attention and read the bill. You don't have to pay the added gratuity. In fact, it angers me so much that I draw a line through it and write the total that was before it. And , no tip at all~!!
