BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY
Which restaurants would you recommend going to in either Birmingham, Manchester or London?
I would like to know which restaurants you like to go in the following places, Birmingham, Manchester or London. I would prefer these restaurants to be of high status, such as michelin-starred restaurants.
I can only speak for Manchester (not a resident but visitor.)
Manchester has a great China Town with budgets to suit all.
There is also a great Gay area near the canal that has fabulous restaurants.Near the railway station.

What percentage of restaurants use guest paging systems?
I want to know roughly what percentage of all restaurants use these. Not which ones use them, not how many restaurants there are in the world, but what percentage of restaurants use the guest paging systems that vibrate and/or make noise when a guest’s table is ready.
Thank you.
Please reference a link showing where your answer came from. Otherwise, I’ll have to assume you made it up.
12.5-15%

Approximately how many fast food restaurants are there in the Netherlands?
Or how many restaurants in general? I need to know how many fast food restaurants and real restaurants there are in the Netherlands for a debating assignment at school. Thanks!
Lots and lots. Netherlands is the home of Febo, which is about as fast as Fast Food can get. Febo are like big vending machines that have little heated windows offering such delights as chicken burgers, fries, croquettes, and many other unidentifiable deep fried delights. There is a kitchen behind these windows where the food is prepared. You simply pop in some coinage, open the little window and grab your snack of choice. They’re everywhere, especially in Amsterdam. Check out their website for more info.
They are also plenty of McDonalds, KFC, Burger Kings, souvlaki joints, frites (french fries) places and harring stalls. The big American fast food chains mentioned are more common in the bigger cities – not so much in smaller towns.

What is the minimum age for waitressing at most restaurants?
I was planning on applying at a few restaurants once I turn 16 but then it occured to me that this might be too young. Does anyone know what the normal age requirement is for waitresses at most restaurants?
16, but you can’t work past 11 pm or more than 40 hours school + work.

What are the best restaurants and nightclubs in New York City?
I plan to visit New York City within the next two years and I really want to know what the quality of the restaurants and nightlife is there. I also want to know the best restaurants and nightclubs there. I’m vegetarian and I’m also into organic food. Is NYC great for vegetarian restaurants, organic restaurants and organic food stalls? Also, are there nightlife curfews there?
I look forward to your replies.
Yes, NYC is a great place for vegetarian and organic (and locally sourced) food. I’m also vegetarian and can think of the following great vegetarian restaurants offhand: Gobo, Dirt Candy (this place is really great), Vatan, Angelica Kitchen, Kate’s Joint, Counter, Blossom, Zen Palate, Red Bamboo, Pure Food and Wine. And then there are the vegetarian and veggie-friendly ethnic restaurants (especially Indian), some super pizza places (there’s been a resurgence in artisan pizzamaking here the past few years) and even a few street carts (especially the dosa cart at Washington Square Park).
And most of the good-quality restaurants have solid, thoughtfully prepared vegetarian options. So you can not only eat veggie here, but eat *really* well with great, innovative and interesting dishes all over the place.

How many restaurants in the US have televisions?
I’m looking for some statistics around how many of the 945,000 restaurants actually have at least on television in their establishment.
Who cares. I don’t go to a restaurant to watch TV. I go to enjoy a nice meal out with my wife or friends or both. I also enjoy the fact that my wife doesn’t have to cook or clean up after the meal.
Why don’t you do some Research on good places to eat at a reasonable price instead of how many TVs are in a restaurant.

What do restaurants pay for trash removal?
I am trying to find out what restaurants pay to have their trash removed, which company they use for this service and how often they are charged. I would also like to know the name of the restaurant and the city/state. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this question.
Do some homework. If you’re interested in local rates, visit them and ask. If not local, use the yellow pages or google to find names and numbers of restaurants, and call them.

How do restaurants usually grill their meats?
I can tell the difference of quality in the meat between some restaurants like Carabas, Macaroni Grill, Bahama Breeze, etc…
Do these restaurants use wood burning grills? Why are these so much better than a regular grill?
That depends on a LOT of factors:
The restaurant…….Five Star restaurants are going to use MUCH better cuts and qualities of meat:
Some restaurants actually have Kobe beef FLOWN IN FROM JAPAN. Kobe beef is the most expensive beef ON OUR PLANET, as the cows are fed beer and massaged 2 times a day (and NO, I’m NOT lying there).
Second, 80% of restaurants will do the French method of preparing meat, which is either starting it on a fire (like a gas grated grill) or in a screaming hot pan, and then transfer it for "final" doneness in the oven. This method is Au Poivre (Aw-P’waw) method, and is the perfect way to insure a good steak.

What are some good NYC restaurants that I can bring my girlfriend to for her birthday?
I’m from just outside of Philadelphia. I’m 18 and my girlriend is turning 18. I’m planning on taking her into NYC for her birthday. Any ideas on good restaurants that I can bring her to? I don’t want to go anywhere cheap, but I also don’t want to go anywhere that will run me a 300 dollar bill. Any idea where I can take her for a nice hundred dollar dinner?
Prune Restaurant – Amazing quality food, decent prices. Look-up the website.

Can anyone tell me decently priced and good restaurants in the Manhattan area?
I’m going to New York for college visits, and I was just wondering what decently priced (preferably cheap) AND good restaurants are in the Manhattan area.
I’ve looked on the internet and a lot of restaurants are too expensive. I don’t know where to look because I’m not familiar with the area.
Please and thank you.
-Abigail
I know that a lot of the restaurants there are pretty expensive.
It depends on what type of food you prefer like if you like mexican food there’s a great spot in Union Street called Calexico Carne Asada.Tacos are like 3-4$ and the burritos are like 7-8$. It’s more remote and smaller if you want more privacy, there’s a bit of a wait but it’s great food. Or you could go to like a Chipotle which are like everywhere in 34th st. ,42nd st., Noho, park ave., the village. There’s also a place with the best $9 plate of pasta it’s called Atlas CafĂ© in 116 Havemeyer St.
I hope I helped.
