I want to start a restaurant and I need some advice or opinions?

My idea of this restaurant that I have in mind, is one that specializes on one particular food ingredient, (i wont say what it is) and I will incorporate it into many styles of dishes, including dessert. I want to ask everyone to let me know what types of foods you like or what ingredient you could see yourself using yourself if you were to have a specialty restaurant.

Chili peppers. However I certainly can’t see using this in a dessert. It’s a funny thing but Chili’s restaurant doesn’t use chili peppers in any dish unless they just don’t specify it. Why not go for the gusto and use it in almost every dish. Most people like spicy food anyway and it is a completely different kind of hot than jalepeno.

How do you choose a restaurant to eat at?

I’ve been working at a Chinese restaurant while in college for over a year now. Recently we switched owners, and the new owner is struggling to make ends meet. I feel like a large part of that is because of construction on the street in front of the store-there is no parking; however, our business is mostly a delivery one. We do have many tables in the store for people to dine in though. I was wondering what makes you choose a restaurant to eat at, and how we could make business better?

How do you cook the wings from restaurant depot in an oven?

They are frozen, big wings, pre seasoned.
Restaurant depot is like a cosco, sams club for restaurants. No directions at all, i was given them at fridge temp.

Let the wings come to room temperature.
Preheat your oven to about 450 degrees.
Salt and pepper the wings or use lemon pepper instead.
You will need a sheet pan with a metal grate, or broiler. Spray it down with Pam. Place the wings on the grate/grill, not touching, in one single layer.
Put in the hot oven and roast for about 20 – 23 minutes. If you prefer you can turn the wings over after 15 min. but it isn’t necessary. I always set my timer for 22 minutes and when it goes off, I take the wings from the oven. (oven temperatures vary; so if your oven runs really hot, yours may be ready at 20 – 21 minutes. If not, they may need to roast a full 23 min.
Remove from the oven and let rest a few minutes. Prepare a dip if you like while they cool a little. Serve. This is the easiest way to cook wings, the fat drains off as they cook and they are very, very tasty and flavorful this way. Very simple.

What is the best type of lighting for restaurant dining rooms?

This restaurant has no windows and lighting is an issue. We want a comfortable atmosphere with lighting that helps relieve the cave-like feeling the restaurant has with no windows. This is a high quality restaurant, so dim lighting is usually wanted, but we don’t want the lighting to be too dim. any suggestions?

Your best option is to get light switches with adjustable brightness. Older customers might prefer a little brighter light so they can read the menus, while the younger customers might want dimmer lights to set a more romantic mood. In either case, I’d say you can’t stick with one brightness setting, and must adjust as needed or if a customer makes a request.

Is it possible to start a restaurant with no experience?

I have what I think is a great idea — a restaurant that specializes in salads to cater to the lunch crowd. I’d love to open a restaurant, but I have no experience outside of a fast food job I got fired from. Is it possible to start a successful restaurant with no experience, or is this just a pipe dream?

It’s possible to do anything, if you invest your time in it. To understand some of the permits and licenses you’ll need alongside with federal requirements, check out the link provided. Since each state is different, it would be best to contact your state to see what you’ll need to clear your business for launch.

The next part is to get your business started, which costs money. If you think about it, you’ll have to buy or rent the building your business will operate out of, provide all of the things needed in a salad bar (tables, seats, chillers, etc…), along with paying taxes, employee salary, and purchasing the food from some sort of vendor. It’s a long laundry list of stuff, but you can see that to make money, you must first spend that money.

How you go about getting that money to start up is usually done in two ways; either through an Investor(s) or through a loan. An investor is someone that is going to invest money in you to get your business set up and running. This can be a family member, friend, or even a private investor. The other way is through a loan, which you’ll be responsible for paying back over time, just like college loans or credit cards.

If you happen to get the money to start up your business, and you’ve cleared everything with the state and the government, you’re pretty much set. Again, you’ll need to purchase or rent available space to have a building to operate out of and purchase all of the things to put into this building which will be your salad bar. You’ll obviously need to hire employees and create a staff to operate and maintain your business. Also, you’ll probably want to have somebody to cover you legally and someone to help you keep up on your taxes, finances, spending, earnings, etc…

Most small businesses fail within the first year. I don’t say this to scare you but more to encourage and enlighten you. Don’t be afraid to try something, even if others don’t understand it.
Starting up a small business can be fun but you also should do some research to find out more about the industry you’re getting into. You don’t have to have experience to do any of this, but it generally might help if you had some unique and interesting ideas, especially when you’re proposing your business idea to a potential investor.

This isn’t everything of course, there are plenty of other things that didn’t get covered here. I would suggest you do more research on it yourself, so you learn at your own pace. I hope this helped, remember to check out the link below.

How to ask a restaurant to pay for my medical bills?

I went to a restaurant on Sunday with my girlfriend. At the restaurant I ordered medium rare steak and french fries with some broccoli, and my girlfriend had some BBQ ribs and frenc fries.
After we ate, I took her back to her place and I went straight home. When I went home I had a fever of 102 and I have headaches. So, I didn’t took anything but tylenol and went to sleep. On monday I still feel very nauseated and have really bad headaches. In the afternoon I started to vommit and have another high fever. I tried to eat small food and I can’t because I kept vomitting it back. This continues on to tuesday morning and afternoon while I was in school. After I got back from school I finally vomitted again this time with blood. I finally went to the emergency room.
So, I know that I got sick right after I ate at that restaurant and i couldn’t eat anything afterwards because I kept vomitting. What should I tell the restaurant so that they pay the medical bills from the ER?

My daughter got food poisoning when vacationing this past summer after eating at a nice restaurant. We spent 10 hours in the ER because of vomiting and diarrhea. Diarrhea is part of it. No fever and no headache was involved. The doctor said with food poisoning that the normal time for symptoms to start is 6 hours after eating. That is the normal time he said. We did notify the restaurant and the health department but we did not ask them to pay the bill. I don’t think you have a case of food poisoning. Sounds like you had a stomach virus. Don’t expect the restaurant to pay the bill.

What is the best restaurant to break up with my girlfriend?

I am thinking of breaking up with my girlfriend, and she is kind of crazy. If I do it over the phone/email/text she would get pissed because her previous boyfriends did that and she screwed them over. So I want to try to make the break up as formal and nice as possible, and I want to go to a restaurant with a lot of quick escape routes in case she tries to slap me or something. Which is the best restaurant to break up with my girlfriend in?

Pick a halfway decent place not a Burger or Buffalo wing type place, it must be quiet enough to hear each other but not so quiet the other tables can hear. And make sure you ask for a female waiter, table not booth, and close to bathroom if possible. Like Olive Garden, Mac Grill, not to expensive but not real cheap.

Restaurant is the PERFECT PLACE to break up cause you got more of a chance she won’t make a big scene and second by the time you and her leave she has had a chance to accept it and be calmer when you part ways. Screw the Class aspect you are dumping someone there is nothing nice about that or a classy way of doing it, DUMPED IS DUMPED. You are telling someone you would rather be on your own rather than with them how do you make that classy. Also, if she does start to act crazy you can always excuse yourself and you don’t have to come back.

Really though don’t leave the place till she is calm and has accepted the fact that it is over. Some women tend to do crazy things right after break ups ie., suicide, drink binges, or revenge sex with a stranger (which is dangerous for her). Plus make sure she gets not only home but inside the home safely don’t do the drop and run. See it all the way through and you are less likely to suffer retribution or create a nemesis.

I learned all this the hard way. . . . .

In art, we have to come up with a restaurant with a special theme.

What are some restaurant themes I could use and how would I decorate the inside and outside of the restaurant? Also, what could be the name of the restaurant?

Which restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania would you say has the best Philly Cheesesteaks?

Throughout Philadelphia, there are many places that have Philly Cheesesteaks? These places include Pat’s and Geno’s.

Out of all hte many restaurants that have Philly Cheesesteaks, which restaurant has the best Cheesesteaks to eat?

Every one will say Pat’s and Geno’s but Larry’s Cheese steaks up on City Line Avenue and I think 54th st, up by Saint Joes University, is amazing. This guy rocks and he makes the best cheese fries also.

What is a good restaurant in Philadelphia to take a young lady to?

I’m meeting a friend for dinner in Philadelphia, and I am looking for a restaurant. It has to meet some specifications though.

1. I’m looking for someplace fun.
2. I’m looking for some place kind of nice. (I don’t want anything blue collar, or for families.)
3, It has to serve cocktails, the kind a young woman in her twenties would drink.

Anybody have any suggestions?

One of my personal favorites is Butcher & Singer at 1500 Walnut Street.. it’s a great steakhouse.. but if that’s not your thing I found on philly.com a restaurant search, where you can choose the type of food you want, the price range you want, and then it gives you a brief overview of the restaurant. So that probably will help you.
