. You’re talking about Kuala Lumpur ? There must be 100 restaurants in that area! The virtual.tourise has some recommendations from visitors. It depends on what food you like.
The Hard Rock Café has good American food.
The KL (Menara) Tower Restaurant, 200′ high, has good local food and an excellent view.

Is it inappropriate to read the newspaper in a fine dining restaurant?
You’re paying and eating…of course it doesn’t matter.
Just don’t be rude to the server and tip well if it’s good service…then I don’t see why enjoying a fine dining meal with reading material instead of conversation would be a problem

What is appropriate attire for a man to wear for dinner at a fine dining restaurant in New Orleans?
Call and ask them what the proper dress is. Sometimes a jacket and tie are required. Typically, a jacket and tie are fine anywhere. If, when you arrive, you find yourself a bit overdressed you can lose the tie. Trust me its better to call than to be stopped at the door without a tie.

How much money are you willing to spend to eat a hamburger at a fine dining restaurant?
When you eat at a fine dining restaurant, a hamburger is going to cost a lot more than getting a hamburger from a fast food restaurant. While the cost of the hamburger can cost you $10.00 as oppose to a burger at a fast food place that would cost less than $2.00.
How much money would you say you are willing to spend when you eat a hamburger at a fine dining restaurant?
I say that I am willing to spend $8.00 for a hamburger at a fine dining restaurant.
I am a former chef and while on a trip to Singapore, (I worked there in the 1980’s) a couple of friends and I went to a fine dining place in town, and I had one just because it was on the menu for $50, it was made with Kobe beef, had a slice of foie gras, , truffle and crispy onions on a hand made brioche roll. Not the kind you have ketchup and mustard on, and it was about the size of a normal burger at McD.
Now I would not venture that today, although I had a burger here in Toronto Canada where I live at a place called Jake’s, it was a 10 oz pattie with 3 slices of cheese, 6 slices of bacon and toppings, it weights 2 lbs when garnished and I paid $8.75.

Eating in fine dining restaurant?
what is its reaction? Give some advantages and disadvantages.
I can’t think of any advantages off hand.
Disadvantages are that the following activities would be frowned on :
Farting loudly.
Belching.
Tucking the tablecloth down the front of your shirt.
Starting a food fight.
Touching up the waitresses.
Stealing the knives and forks.
Doing a runner without paying.

Is your favorite fine dining restaurant cooking your gourmet meal in a microwave?
Just curious what the public thinks, many actually do. Yup $30 fish, chops & steaks nuked to perfection – A damn shame
I really don’t think fine dining and the microwave should be used in the same sentence, but if thats what you like…whatever.

can anyone suggest a nice fine dining restaurant in detroit?
its my girlfriend’s birthday and we live in ann arbor. Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant in downtown detroit with a nice view of the city?
I would suggest staying local, there’s a restaurant in downtown A2 called Logan that’s exquisite. It has great service, an interesting menu, and you can get a table in the window for some great people watching. It’s across from Grizzly Peak. The website is: http://www.logan-restaurant.com/
As for Detroit, your best bet of a good view would be Coach Insignia at the top of the Renaissance Center. The website is: http://www.mattprenticerg.com/urc/coach.asp
Keep in mind, both of these restaurants are considered fine dining experiences, and you’ll be paying much more than if you were going to your neighborhood Applebee’s.
Good luck, and I hope your girlfriend has a good birthday!
