BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY
What mistake by caterers caused trouble at the Under 19 cricket world cup in New Zealand?
Serving toasted ham sandwiches up to the Afghani’s doesn’t sound particularly sensitive. Surely you K1’s should have been able to drum up some Halal Lamb.

I’m looking to organise a 21st, does anyone know any fantastic finger food caterers in Perth???
I also need a dressmaker to make my dress. I know what I want in my head but I will need them to draw and make, does anyone know an awesome dressmaker in Perth, who is relatively cheap. (Not over $450) And I need to find a licenced venue, where it is also BYO as I want to bring kegs of beer. If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful!!!!
Caterer: A lot of cafes and restaurants will cater parties with finger food. If you know of any good ones that you like, then ask them. Otherwise refer to this list:
http://www.google.com/search?q=perth+caterers&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SKPB
Dress: Try and provide the dressmaker with as much feedback and information as you possibly can. Here’s some numbers for some Perth dressmakers:
http://www.google.com/search?q=perth+dressmaker&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SKPB
Venue: Google again =P. I didn’t have time to look through all the venues so you can take the time to go through all these: http://www.google.com/search?q=perth+venue&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SKPB

How much do caterers usually cost for weddings?
I am having my wedding in June 2010 and I live in Canada, Calgary-Alberta, and im just wondering what a ball park guess is for caterers. I am having about 100-120 people at my wedding. I would also like to have a buffet style, and not steak or anything, just the plain chicken and potatoes or something.. I am going to start calling around but im just trying to make my budget Thanks a bunch.
I don’t know if you have your venue yet, but I’m from Calgary and am getting married this July. Alpine Catering is very reasonable and I’ve heard good things, except my Aunt, who works for another catering copany in Calgary recently worked on a function with them and wasn’t very impressed.
I’m getting married out in Deadman’s Flats and I have the same size guest list as you and my budget is modest. If you haven’t found a venue yet and like the idea of getting married out in the mountains check out www.banffgatemountainresort.com. They have a decent hall and rent it out for just over $1000 (it might go up for next year I’m not sure).
They let you find your own caterer and set up your own bar, so if you choose to have a cash bar you don’t have worry about that cost. Either way though it will be much less expensive then paying for the drinks through a hotel.
Then if you go through Bow Valley catering in Canmore they offer a buffet with roast beef and chicken for $30/person and that includes the taxes and the gratuity. Again though the price might go up a little by next year. They seem to have a very good reputation.
Hope this helps, good luck!!

Are there any reception halls that allow outside caterers around the Chicago IL area?
How about the top of the Harold Washington Library, the main branch for Chicago Public Libraries. The view is great and you furnish the caterers or they can recommend someone.

Are there any good properties or venues to hire on the river in Perth you can use your own caterers at?
Looking to hire a property for the weekend or day to have a catered cocktail party. It would be good if the property could have a serviceable kitchen, to prep food for 60-80 guests and a large outdoors area, with nice views. Any suggestions??
Tranby on Swan. Great place for a wedding.

What is the best Ice form for caterers/pubs?
Types : Gourmet, Dice ??
As a seasoned bartender both in the U.K. and th U.S. can definatly say crushed for chilling glasses and big cubes for tall drinks. Fact:- more ice in a glass will keep the drink colder and thus less melt to water down your carefully balanced voda cokes etc. Can go all scientific with relative heat capacity and stuff but big cubes keep drinks the way they should be, longer.
Oh! infact some smart alek NYC bartender actually worked it all out once and optimised cube size, tmpreratures and stirs etc. for the perfect meltage in his perfect Martini. He made alot of money and never threw his bottles arount.
