BISTRO COMFORT, DELICIOUS AND TASTEFUL THE BEST IN HIS WAY
Have any ideas for a new French/American restaurant menu suggestion?
I just today got a new job working in a French/American restaurant (primarily breakfast-lunch). I’m looking for some ideas and original suggestions to dazzle them.
Currently we have creeps and quiche, some omelettes and scrambles. Even some ingredient suggestions would be helpful.
LOL! Your right the creeps might scare everyone off ![]()
What I get for not paying attention to spell check.
Ahem…
Crepes
Chili cheese dogs. apple cobbler….with french vanilla ice creme…Steak and eggs on a bun. You might want to hide the creeps though, they may scare the customers.Crepes with berried whipped creme, drizzled in caramel sauce. Poached pears. Chocolate eclairs, with cherry candy flavoring in the chantilly creme, dark chocolat covered lightly drizzled. Pretzels, big ones. hafe covered in white chocolate. Bacon with tomatoe sandwiches in toasted french bread.

How do i make restaurant style tandoori chicken?
I have tried making tandoori chicken from a couple of recipes. problem is that no matter how popular the recipe is, and how hard i follow it, it never tastes like what i get at the indian restaurants. some how none of indian dishes ever turn out restaurant like when following a recipe.
could anyone please tell me what the indian restaurants do? is there a secret ingredient that most of us dont know about?
i dont think the tandoor vs oven issue matters as much as the ingredients do.
You need a tandoor oven. The closest you might be able to get is to buy a bunch of pizza stones and line your oven.

Does anyone know where I can rent a facility in Cincinnati that will not make me use their caterers/bartenders?
I want to hold a wedding reception somewhere in the Cincinnati area, but I already have personal caterers, bartenders, and DJs. Does anyone know where I can rent a decent facility that will allow me to bring my posse with me? It seems that all the banquet facilities want me to use their staff, and I just can’t afford their prices! Help or references are appreciated.
I live in Canada, but I got some addresses for you:

What should a vegetarian order at a Chinese restaurant?
I’m a vegetarian and I’m going to a Chinese restaurant tonight with some friends. It seems like most Chinese dishes have some sort of meat in them. Can any other vegetarians recommend something to eat at a Chinese restaurant?
More often than not, Chinese menus have a vegetarian or vegetables section..so fear not!!
I would opt for a vegetable dish (something like mushrooms and bamboo shoots, celery and cashews, mixed vegetables, aubergine in black bean sauce), some fried rice or plain noodles and maybe some deep fried seaweed or spring rolls.
If you see something you fancy that has meat included on the dish, then ask the waiter/waitress if they can exclude that item from the dish..it shouldn’t be a problem.
Have a lovely meal!!

I am opening up a pizza chain restaurant in my town. How can I promote it?
I live in a somewhat small town and am opening up a chain pizza restaurant- It is set to open in 3 weeks. What are some ideas to make sure my community knows about it and also to help drive business? Thanks.
Open a myspace and facebook account, it’s like free advertising and so many people are on these sites.

What’s the best/healthiest thing to order at a Mexican restaurant?
So I have to go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant;
I doubt they’ll have nutrition charts available at the restaurant since it’s a local business and not a chain restaurant.
What should I order ? What will have the least amount of calories?
Suggest something that pretty much any Mexican restaurant has
thanks !
Get two fish tacos without dressing in them. Ask for fresh salsa or tamatio instead. No refried beans!

How much can I expect to make a night at a fine-dining restaurant in tips?
Does it matter if the restaurant is a little slower than cheaper restaurants such as Ruby Tuesdays or Houlihans? Do people usually tip better when fine-dining?
The big money comes from wine sales.

Any restaurants in Destin, Florida good for holding a small wedding reception?
I am looking for the names of some good restaurants that can accomodate for about 20 people. We are getting married on the beach, and just want a restaurant/bar type atmosphere for a ULTRA CASUAL reception! Any suggestions?? 10 Pts best answer!
WardsJune, I’ve located a local directory of restaurants that might help. You can narrow down the Florida results by cities close to you. If you phone several of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/Florida-Restaurants.html
